That’s some Harry Potter shit!

Today, we recieved a Boab tree fruit in the mail from Australia. What did I find when I opened it? Some intricate CARVINGS! SECRETS! STORIES! There are two snakes on it! And something that looks like either a dog or a fish. All of this prompted me to learn more about the mythical Boab Trees.

Baobab is the common name of a genus (Adansonia) containing eight species of trees, native to Madagascar (having six species), mainland Africa and Australia (one species in each). The mainland African species also occurs on Madagascar, but it is not a native of that island.

Boab fits right in with my dream catcher and “See Revision” stamp!

Sara gets all Harry Potter on Boab. Parseltongue!

Let’s get some Boabs in America!

End history lesson.

  1. Its likely if theres two snakes on it, it’ll be either a song-line diagram, or more likely some sort of illustration of some of the traditional dream snakes , like the waggyl and warragul. Do the snakes meet up? If so its probable it refers to some sort of special place at an intersection of rivers, perhaps with good hunting or fishing or something.

  2. like in Le Petit Prince.
