Antiques Web Show, Vol. 65

Hey guys. This is R.E.M.’s first, and my favorite, album. 1983’s Murmur was a strange album to come out of what was mostly heavy new wave and post punk records that eclipsed  the musical channels. Prominent, melodic basslines and bright jangly guitars backing Michael Stipe singing some of his Stipiest lyrics to date… and that’s all I’ll say about Michael Stipe, resisting the urge to post any other Stipe-related photos that may or may not have circulated the internet a while back. Just enjoy the damn record.
